Business Structure Attribute

Business Structure Attributes (also called Location Attributes) allow administrators to assign configurable properties to locations in the organizational hierarchy. There are two configurable forecast attributes:

Forecast Week Start Day — determines when the forecast week begins for each site or group of sites. For more information about the Forecast Week Start Day feature, go to Start Day of Week.
Generate Volume Intervals — controls whether the Volume Forecast Intervals Engine distributes daily volume predictions into sub-daily intervals (15, 30, or 60 minutes). For more information about the Volume Intervals feature, go to Generate Volume Intervals.

These attributes support use cases in which a business structure spans multiple forecast week configurations — for example, a retailer whose US stores start on Sunday while European stores start on Monday — and in which locations selectively require intraday volume interval detail.
