Preconfigured platform models
Delegate authority to another manager or administrator
The system uses two Business Process models to support delegating authority:
- Admin Delegation for an administrator to request a manager to act as a delegate for another manager.
- Manager Delegation for a manager to request another manager to act as their delegate.
This is how delegation works:
- Click Tap Home
. - Click Tap My Notifications.
- In Control Center, click tap My Actions
. Select Business Processes > Manager Delegation or Admin Delegation. - In Delegate Profile, select the person who will take authority during your absence.
- Select the Start Date and End Date from the calendars
. The dates are in the time zone of the requester. - Select the Role Profile. A role profile is associated with one function access profile (FAP) and one display profile to define the functions that a person can perform while acting as a delegatee.
- Click Tap Submit.
