Checklist of items to edit before you upgrade to UKG Authentication followed by a link to the instructions to complete the upgrade.

Main Menu > Authentication Upgrade

Before you start to upgrade, prepare the data as follows.
Log in.
Click Authentication Upgrade to see the Pre-Upgrade Checklist.
Update the following before you upgrade:

Note: Requirements to change Default Password Policy, Invalid Email Addresses, and Invalid Phone Numbers are deprecated, and you do not need to edit these items before the upgrade to UKG Authentication. For detailed information about password requirements, see the Password Policy topic.
1. (Required) Username Formats for the Authentication Upgrade
2. (Required if you use SSO) SSO Configuration for the UKG Authentication Upgrade
3. (Optional) Email Addresses for the Authentication Upgrade
4. If your system includes products that extend the capabilities of UKG Pro Workforce Management, select Upgrade your External Products to configure items that are specific to the add-on product while you complete the upgrade. When you finish the data preparation, Upgrade to UKG Authentication.
