Configure Workload Planners

Multiple Workload Specifies a number of employees needed for a certain job at a certain location over a certain span of time. Planners can give quick access to multiple staffing plans. For example, you can configure a separate staffing plan for each time period and assign them to Workload Planner Tracks and edits staffing plans that define the number of workers that are needed for each shift or schedule zone and job. Profiles which are then assigned to users.

  1. From the Main Menu, select Administration > Application Setup > Scheduler Setup > Workload Setup.
  2. Select the Workload Planners tab. To narrow the list of Workload Planners, enter name and click Search. The asterisk (*) is a wildcard.
  3. Click New or select a Workload Planner and click Duplicate, Edit, or Delete.
  4. Enter a Name and (optionally) a Description.
  5. Select a default Time Period to load when the planner opens.
  6. Select Use All Home A query that returns a list of employees associated with a manager's employee group. All Home finds people who are active employees or active users as of today. Locations to have the Workload Planner default to displaying data for all locations in the organizational group.
  7. If Use All Home Locations is not selected, managers have to choose a location in the Workload Planner in order for data to display.

  8. Click Save & Close to exit Workload Setup.
