Administer Business Processes

Administrators, managers, or employees start or respond to Business Processes An organized flow of activities or tasks that achieves a business goal. An automated business process minimizes the amount of paperwork and manual tasks to complete that process by way of automatic actions, online forms, and automatically generated messages. from the Business Process tile A container that provides navigation or action from its summary view. on their home page The page that is presented to the user upon login, which contains the tiles that let the user access or navigate to common tasks., the GoTo control, the Control Center, Attestation The act of confirming or attesting that something is true. For example, when punching out, users may need to attest that they took their meal breaks. Punch The entries on a timecard that mark the beginning (in-punch) or end (out-punch) of a work interval, such as the beginning of a shift or transfer. Tile, Smart View from devices or from notifications.

Use the Business Processes Admin to monitor and troubleshoot Business Processes.

  1. From the Main Menu, select Administration > Business Processes.
  2. The Business Process Admin is displayed in a new tab.
  3. Select any of the following tabs:
    • Deployments — Lists application deployments by tenant and version. You can redeploy or delete applications.
    • Definitions — Lists deployed process definitions. You can sort or filter definitions by tenant, category, or name.
    • Instances — Lists current running process instances. You can complete a running instance.
    • Tasks — Lists current tasks. You can reassign or complete tasks.
    • Jobs — Lists current jobs. Jobs can be manually completed.
  4. Expand results to display more detailed information about them.
